Since I brought up words yesterday I thought I’d give you guys a chance at guessing what some of Emery’s words mean. I’ll type some of the words he uses as they sound and you guys try to guess what they mean. Some are a lot more obvious than others.

Ba (not an error, he uses this for 2 words) Banana

He says our names clearly as well as baby, tractor, diaper and NO (of course)!
Hayoh = hello
Peez = please
Tayoo = thank you
Nah nah = Nana
Dis = this
Ba = sheep?

Um - I think you forgot one of the best ones ever….his very emphatic and correct use of the word NO.

Mems and Pa Pa loved playing with Emery last night while Momma and Daddy went to church. He is a joy and a very happy little guy. We played with everything in the house including looking at the “baby” on Mems’ camera. He checked out Mems’ necklesses and tried to say pretty. Also he does say “snack” very well and uses it a lot! He also makes up for words he can’t pronouce with his sign language. We love our baby, Emery, and look forward to many sweet times with him. Love, MEMS and Pa Pa
