Emery’s sorry he wasn’t born born on Aunt KK’s birthday. I’m sorry, too. I would have happily given up those last 6 days of pregnancy. But, his delayed arrival shouldn’t make her question his undying devotion to his Aunt KK…nor his other favorite aunts!!!

I’m pretty sure that last night was my initiation into motherhood. You know that you’re officially a mom when you’re nursing your child on the floor of the bathroom close enough to be able to lean over and reach the toilet should you start vomiting. I’m certain that’s considered hazing in some states. Stomach bug be gone!!
Brock can’t find his tennis shoes. And, up until about six months ago this would have been completely out of the ordinary for him. Much to his dismay, my knack for misplacing things might have begun to rub off on him. We might need to invest in large magnets for everything we own!
This year instead of dyeing eggs we decided to dye or son…with purple meds.

How precious is the face of a boy who sleeps through the night!! At 3 1/2 weeks our little boy slept almost 7 hours…I thought I was dreaming when I woke up. He’s done 2 long stretches every night since then - thank the Lord for small miracles! - Britt
