Emery loves to help me vacuum. And, It just so happened that we’ve been potty training and he rediscovered his cape from Aunt KK the other day - makes for a great Vacuum Boy costume.

The other night while I was in the kitchen cleaning up after dinner and Brock was at the table reading Emery a Bible story I overheard Brock saying this to Emery:
No, that’s not John Deere, son, that’s John the Baptist.
Clearly, my son has a love for tractors!!
Also funny - Emery has tried to back himself up and sit on top of several open books lately because he wants to “ride” the car or tractor that is pictured in the book.
I’ll have a post with actual pictures soon - I just have to get organized enough ot make it to the computer with all the pictures. Sorry for the delay. Love to you all.

I thought I might have trouble getting Emery to keep his costume on this year. Turns out that he loves it! Emery and his cousins tried their costumes on early in the day to make sure they fit and Emery didn’t want to take his off. So, he played for quite a while dressed as a monkey. He was pretty proud that he looked like a monkey in the mirror. After dinner when it was time to put the costumes back on, Emery got dressed first and then brought Joseph his monkey costume saying “monkey.” It was super cute!!
